The UK economy continues to navigate a complex and uncertain period. While GDP saw a modest expansion of 0.4% in May, following flat growth in April, underlying trends reveal a mixed economic outlook. Inflation has eased significantly, returning to the Bank of England's (BoE) 2% target for the second month in a row since May 2024.
