Pepper Advantage appoints new CEO of Indian business

Mumbai - Mukund Kulkarni will replace Asokan Arumugam as CEO of Pepper India Resolution Private Limited, part of Pepper Advantage India, effective 1 July 2022.

Kulkarni was previously head of SME and retail loans at Arcil; previous experience includes Barclays and ICICI.

 

Pepper Advantage, a global credit intelligence company, announces the appointment of Mukund Kulkarni as CEO of Pepper India Resolution Private Limited, part of Pepper Advantage India, based in Mumbai. 

 

Kulkarni joins Pepper Advantage from Arcil, where he led a team of over 150 people focused on supporting SME and retail credit accounts across multiple portfolios and products. His expertise includes SME, home, auto, personal, education, agricultural, and large corporate loans across the country. He has over 20 years of experience in credit management working for financial institutions including Barclays Investments & Loans India, Cholamandalam Finance, and ICICI Bank.

 

Kulkarni will replace outgoing Executive Director and CEO Asokan Arumugam, who will remain part of the business as Non-Executive Director. Kulkarni will report directly to Pepper Advantage Group CEO Fraser Gemmell.
