Matt Wye was appointed UK CEO in October 2026 and is responsible for the ongoing leadership, strategy, development and success of the UK business.
Prior to joining us as UK CEO, Matt led various lending functions at Metro Bank and comes from a technologically focused background, with over 20 years of credit and financial services experience. His prior role as Metro’s Managing Director of Future Bank Delivery was heavily focused on leading a technology and operating model transformation designed to modernise the Bank’s technology estate, value proposition, efficiency and build the data and AI capability to support future growth.
Moving forward, Matt will lead our credit management teams, with a focus on driving exceptional customer outcomes, operational efficiencies and embedding modern technology into our business.
